God is the God of the second chance. No matter what mess we've done in the past, God is still willing to forgive us and give a a brand new and fresh start in life. NO matter how old we are, we are still capable of a fresh start. We could not say to God that we are too old for His forgiveness or say to God that we are so messed-up that our lives are beyond repair or say to God that we already missed the train of opportunity. Their is nothing impossible for Him to do. God can fix our lives even though how mess-up it looks, he can hold it back together and give it a brand new start. If we say that we already missed the train of opportunity then God can bring in more trains for us to ride to our God-given destiny.
Psalms 51:17 says God will not despise "a broken and a contrite heart". So when we come to Him for forgiveness, He will not set us aside. Instead, like the Father to the prodigal son, He will run towards us and wrap His arms around us. And when we try to talk about our mistakes He will silence us by putting His hands in our lips. God has already forgiven us. And He has already forgotten our mistakes. The Lord loves us so much that He gave His own Son Jesus to die in our behalf. God wants to give us His second chance. It not too late. Its NEVER too late.
